We recently spent a few days at Wildwood with our dog! We must say, Karin a & Erich are "excellent" hosts, and went out of their way to ensure a great & hassle free experience at Wildwood! The Boats are GREAT, Cottage VERY CLEAN, and the whole property shows pride of ownership! We would definitely book again, and highly recommend Wildwood to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay! A BIG THANKS AGAIN TO KARIN & ERICH! No complaints whatsoever!!!

Mike and I had a wonderful time. The dogs (Lexus and Holly) really enjoyed it as well. The girls got to experience their first vacation, and their first boat ride. It was great being able to just have them out and watch them swim. The cottage was excellent... very clean and roomy! The site was beautiful... I already miss having my morning coffee on the porch looking out at the water. We are hoping to come back... we had a great time.... it was just what we needed ... a little peace and quiet.
After spending a fantastic weekend at Wildwood Cottages we would like to send a big thank you to Karin & Erich! My husband and I and two other couples rented the three bedroom cottage on the August long weekend. Karin and Erich couldn't have been more friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. They were more than happy to make sure we had everything we needed!
The cottage well extremely well equiped and very clean. Not having been there before, we weren't sure what to except but we were all pleasantly surprised.
Thank you again and we wil see you next summer!

Karin & Erich are such great hosts they make a getaway feel like visiting friends. We all loved Wildwood Cottage Resort. My kids were happy and the family was able to share one of those moments that magical memories are made from. I loved getting away from it all and reconnecting with nature, family, and the simplicity of cottage life.

What a wonderful stay we had at Wildwood. It exceeded our expectations... a quiet, relaxing spot with all we needed in terms of fishing set-up as well as a perfect fall getaway. The cottage was charming, the hosts helpful and friendly, lots to do in the area (if you're not a fisherman) and a great spot to just "let go". The small # of cottages and good location were definite pluses. We'll definitely go back again and again!

My husband and I stayed with for about 1 1/2 weeks with our 5 month old puppy. It was a lovely stay because they really are pet friendly. We kept our puppy on our cottage property most of the time but we also let him run around a little and the Karin and Erich were wonderful about it. The cottage is very very very clean and well kept. Also, as a person who rents cottages regularly, I can tell you that many of them have very poor quality pots/pans for cooking. At Wildwood, they were decent quality and easy to cook with.
It's a really lovely site so close to Toronto but we really feel like we got away from it all.
I would recommend them and I would certainly go again.

What a wonderful place, peaceful and relaxing and so clean, we have been to many different cottages in many different locations and none of them have been as wonderful and clean as these cottages. They are so well kept and Karin and Erich are wonderful hosts. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to coming back again next year. Thank you both for a great time.

12 year! - This was my 12th year at Wildwood and the fishing is better than ever! In the cabins, I noticed numerous improvements and they have been well maintained! Was another great year at Wildwood, but a week was too short. If possible, everyone should stay at least 2 weeks! Last year I cam across a good fighting fish that weighted in at quite a nice weight. After much searching I found out that the species was a black crappie. These black crappies it would seem have begun to take over where I used to catch many a largemouth bass. Large and heavy though they might be, I would really to be able to catch the largemouth in my own fishing grounds.

My parents and their friends, in another cabin, since way before then. I always look forward to that week in September, the days are absolutely gorgeous and the nights are cool for sleeping. Fishing is good, in fact, so good that we have 2 fish frys during the week, the first was for 13 people and the 2nd, for 10. And, to top that, we took 22 packages of fish home with us. Our hosts, Erich and Karin who now, I gratefully can call
our friends are wonderful, fun people. It is a blessing to be a part of your lives and what you have to share with folks through Wildwood. You have given us a great place to come to, and we thank you for that.
We absolutely love Wildwood and look forward to another visit. We are, in fact,
considering the entire camp next time for us and all our kids, the good Lord willing. We love you both and thanks again.

Zwölf ganze Tage war'n wir hier, haben genossen Wein und Bier und natürlich die Natur, welche hier ist noch sehr pur. Die Fische bissen meist wie toll, sehr rasch war unser Netzchen voll. Filetiert und gut gebraten sind sie immer fein geraten.
Es war wirklich ein Riesenspass hier zu fangen Panfish und Bass. Darum sagen wir's nicht leise ins Wildwood Resort lohnt sich die Reise auch vom fernen Switzerland,

We chose this "type" of vacation, and this particular resort, for a reason. Michael turns 13 this summer. We feared that we only had a small window of time left before our son slipped off into his own teenaged world, where -in his mind- parental involvement becomes insignificant, and, family vacations become boring & mandatory.
Our vaction was more than we could have hoped for. We found our cabin to be clean & efficient; our hosts pleasant, hospitable & very accomodating; our surroundings beautiful & peaceful. We enjoyed many satisfying hours of fishing, sunshine & relaxation; and our dog loved swimming & walking the trails.
Trying to avoid complete culture shock, we allowed ourselves to bring along a small B&W TV, a Nintendo game cube, a DVD player & 5 new DVD's. I'm happy to say, there was no phone ringing, we didn't take time to watch the TV, video games were only played occasionally, and the DVD's are still in their original store-bought wrappers. The best part is that our now teenaged son doesn't realize that this was a "back to basics / strenghthen the family bonds" sort of thing. Quoting him, all he knows is: "That was actually a pretty cool family vacation!"

Meine Frau, unsere Tochter und ich waren im Oktober 2005 3 Wochen bei Karrer's in Wildwood. Das Wetter war zu diesem Zeitpunkt ungewöhnlich oft bewölkt und kühl, die Umgebung und der Indiensummer trotzdem herrlich. Wir waren sehr gut aufgehoben und genossen trotz wenig Sonnenschein und sehr wenig Regen die Ferien in vollen Zügen. Speziell gefielen uns die aufgestellte und zuvorkommende Gastfreundschaft, das saubere Cottage, die ruhige Lage zwischen Bäumen und See sowie der Standpunkt, von dem aus diverse interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten und Städte in relativ kurzer Zeit erreicht werden können. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.
